Hello, my name is Dot and I will be telling you what it is like to be an 8 year old child travelling for six months with my mummy and daddy.
Two weeks ago I finished school and said goodbye to my friends. It's really different in a caravan, I'm never late for school because my bed is right next to my classroom!
Every day I do some maths and literacy, it's quite difficult having my mum as a teacher but it's good because it's one to one and we get our work done much quicker than in school!
If I try hard and do well I get stickers and an extra day off at the weekend! Today my literacy lesson is doing this blog with my dad and because we are using a computer it counts as ICT as well :)
Our caravan has three bunks and I have chosen the top one because it is the cosiest. It has a partition so that when I go to bed or I am learning it can be closed off.
Tomorrow we are moving to a site near Folkestone so that we can get the train to France on Thursday.
In my next blog post I hope to put a video in. Speak to you soon, from Dot ;) x
